Spiderman Across the Spider-Verse: Movie Review

RATING: 4.5/5

So far the best movie to come out this year, hands down. There is a lot of process about this movie, so this is going to be a longer review than most.

First off, the animation is just beautiful, each universe has its own style, its own vibe. The idea of that is just amazing. The one that strikes you the best is Gwen's world where colour changes according to the feelings of the person. The other universe was Earth- 42, which I wont speak much about as it is a huge spoiler.

Each frame in this movie was drawn individually. This was also done in the last movie. So that means, if we take into account 24 frames a second, this movie was 2hrs and 16 minutes. that means the artists drew around 195,840 frames, excluding the deleted frames and the ones which came out wrong. That info is just something that elevates this movie.

The story is just, wow. The story does not end here though, that we shall talk about at the end. The story behind Miles making his life as spiderman his own and not what others tell him to be is just something that makes for a world class story. Every spiderman from every universe against you and one man just trying to fight back fate. 

The villain of this movie, The Spot, seems completely stupid at first but turns out to be a real pain in the ass for the superheroes. The Spot, is the big bad of this movie and will be the big bad of the next. He is the Thanos of the Spider-Verse.

The music in this movie is just wow. Metro has done something amazing that i don't think someone will beat for a good while. Songs like annihilate is just something out of this world. The album is probably the best album of the year.

The voice acting and cast is just amazing. Shameik Moore as Miles, Hailee Steinfeld as Gwen, and even Karan Soni as Pavitr Prabhakar. Karan Soni is Dopinder from Deadpool by the way. you also have Oscar Issac as Muigel O Hara.

The spiderman you see in this movie, there are a lot. You have your original spider-verse team, Muigel O hara, Spiderman Unlimited, Spider Punk and many more.

The ending to this movie, is a cliff hanger, saving up suspense for the third movie, Beyond the Spider-verse coming out next hear. That movie might even top this, looking at the rate of improvement.

The story also has many connections with the first movie that makes the first movie just better than it already was.

You also have some familiar cameos in this movie, I will not name them.

Overall a must watch movie.

I personally just enjoyed this movie, it is something you need to watch to get a wake up call.

 VADA CHENNAI: MOVIE REVIEW RATING: 4/5 A movie bout a carrom player becoming loyal to a gangster who saved his life, is bound to be a good movie. But this blew it out of the ballpark. Vada Chennai has to be one of the greatest gangster movies ever made, with the great acting of Dhanush, to the excellent direction of Vetrimaaran - this movie never fails to impress me. Its gripping and suspenseful story, Multilinear narrative, and great action sequences make it a great entertainer. This movie also houses one of the greatest interval scenes in Tamil cinema history. A must watch.

The Adam Project: Movie Review

 THE ADAM PROJECT: MOVIE REVIEW RATING: 3/5 The Adam Project is essentially the baby of Sawn Levy and Ryan Reynolds, a sci-fi flick that is just pure fun to watch with a couple lessons in between. The movie also introduces us to Walker Scobell who is the new Percy Jackson actor. This movie doesn't show it too much, but the guy can act, he does act like a regular Ryan Reynolds. The story is fairly simple and there is literally no complains bout it. Ok, maybe one complaint, the story is too simple. The actors didn't need to work hard. CGI was good for the most part and the jokes were funny. Overall a time pass watch.
