The Adam Project: Movie Review

Image
THE ADAM PROJECT: MOVIE REVIEW RATING: 3/5 The Adam Project is essentially the baby of Sawn Levy and Ryan Reynolds, a sci-fi flick that is just pure fun to watch with a couple lessons in between. The movie also introduces us to Walker Scobell who is the new Percy Jackson actor. This movie doesn't show it too much, but the guy can act, he does act like a regular Ryan Reynolds. The story is fairly simple and there is literally no complains bout it. Ok, maybe one complaint, the story is too simple. The actors didn't need to work hard. CGI was good for the most part and the jokes were funny. Overall a time pass watch.

Vada Chennai: Movie Review

Image
VADA CHENNAI: MOVIE REVIEW RATING: 4/5 A movie bout a carrom player becoming loyal to a gangster who saved his life, is bound to be a good movie. But this blew it out of the ballpark. Vada Chennai has to be one of the greatest gangster movies ever made, with the great acting of Dhanush, to the excellent direction of Vetrimaaran - this movie never fails to impress me. Its gripping and suspenseful story, Multilinear narrative, and great action sequences make it a great entertainer. This movie also houses one of the greatest interval scenes in Tamil cinema history. A must watch.

The Irishman: Movie Review

THE IRISHMAN: MOVIE REVIEW RATING: 3.5/5 Martin Scorsese never fails to impress. This three and a half hour movie is one that you will just sit and enjoy. With a cast of Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, and many A-List stars, with a soundtrack that just vibes and the Scorsese special camera work, there isn't a lot of hate about it. The story does get a bit tedious as it goes on, with it being 3.5 hours long, the movie does tend to drag in certain areas but other than that no issues with this movie.

Kho Gaye Hum Kahan: Movie Review

Image
KHO GAYE HUM KAHAN: MOVIE REVIEW RATING: 3.5/5 No other movie screams, "Get a life" like this movie does. The movie about how fake social media is, and how we spend half our lives on there doing nothing but ogle at people living the lives we want. The story is well grounded and taken in a very proper fashion. The actors did a marvelous job, Siddhant Charturvedi delivered one of his most compelling performances after Gully Boy, Ananya Pandey decided to act for the first time ever and showed that she can actually show expressions, only if she did it in other movies, Adarsh Gourav was great as usual. I personally just enjoyed this movie, it is something you need to watch to get a wake up call.

Mission Impossible Dead Reckoning Part One: Movie Review

Image
MISSION IMPOSSIBLE DEAD RECKONING PART ONE: MOVIE REVIEW RATING: 3.5/5 The movie picks off a new storyline, a new villain. The entity, which is an AI that thinks for itself. We got Tom Cruise, we got Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, and now also Haley Atwell. The movie has almost everything you expect out of a Mission Impossible movie. It has great action sequences, great running sequencies, and of course, death defying stunts by Tom Cruise. The theme song is amazing, The story does leave a lot of open loops and is all over the place, but that may be just because it is setting up the part two. Overall a great watch, but still isn't as good as Rogue Nation, Ghost Protocol or even Fallout.

The Archies: Movie Review

Image
THE ARCHIES: MOVIE REVIEW RATING: 3.5/5 Zoya Akhtar once again and has shown that she can do anything in cinema. The adaptation of the Archie comics with a bit of an Indian twist by her was spot on. The casting was great, watching these new actors, Suhana Khan, Agastya Nanda, Khushi Kapoor and the rest was something refreshing in a way, a lot of new faces that I am sure will just go a long way into making bollywood a better industry overall. because their acting was marvelous. The story following the concept of the kids of Riverdale wanting to modernize but on the way realise that some things should be kept sacred and shouldn't change. Zoya has been able to make each character unique and also in a way make them all the same. The colour pallet and cinematography was spot on, but also it is in a way normal to see great cinematography in Zoya movies. The songs are another thing to enjoy, be it Plum Pudding or Va Va Voom, the range of music will give everyone something they will like....
